Stock alternator wiring

Okay, so I am going to be rewiring my alternator with some 4 awg or 1/0 depending if I can get it all to fit snug. My question is where does the stock double white wire run to? I tried looking and it appears that it might run up to the 100A fuse in the stock fuse block that bolts to the battery. Is that right? And if so, where does the other end run to after it goes through the fuse? My car has a 8 gauge wire running straight to the starter, and I don't think that is right. Thanks!!

fuse box then back to the altenator then trace the wires from the box some go to the firewal, and the battery posts.

Okay I just spent a little more time looking at it, it looks like the double whites go from the alternator output post to the 100A fuse link. The other side of the fuse runs straight to my starter, is that right?

Also, there is a wht/blk wire that is connected to the same 100A fuse on the same side of the double white wires, does that run to the bigger engine bay fuse box?
