I recently took out my transmission out my eclipse. I swapped out the speed sensor while I was at cause I thought maybe it would fix my speedometer but it didn’t. Should I replace my gauges? Or could it be something else??

Have you checked the wiring for the speedometer? (Going from the speedo sensor in the top of the trans meeting the wring harness to the ecu) it's not uncommon for the wiring to get melted by the egr or for the connector to get brittle and crack. Also might consider spraying some electrical connector cleaner on the pins in the connector and on the sensor.

Keep in mind the gauge cluster is the same as the ones in 5 speed Avengers and Talons. So it shouldn't be too bad to find one.

The ones from auto cars will work as well but have a lower red line (I think the autos start at 6500 and max at 8k while the manuals start at 7500 and max at 9k)

@Rigoberto Keep us updated on if the new cluster fixes the issue or not. If it doesn't there has to be an issue with the wiring somehwere or you bought a defective sensor. (Which is unlikely since it didn't work with the original sensor either)
