My youngest would love one of those, and I’d love to find one that cheap.Picked this up for $500. Stick shift, 130k miles. Everything seems to work just needs a good cleaning.

Now that I'm checking the internet for everything I can learn about these things, I am seeing some good examples of them on CL for like 2500 bucks. Pretty jarring to someone with the DSM blinders on for the last couple decades. My youngest would love one of those, and I’d love to find one that cheap.
so we rarely use it. Dude, make sure you be very careful when evacuating the line set.. make sure it holds a vacuum.. those are very picky about refrigerant charge because it’s a heat pump, but when they work, THEY WORK..!!!Bought my xmas gift to myself and started installing it!

4 heated seats is great, I dunno about the steering wheel though, and a heated mirror..?? I’ve seen it all now, stop the world, id like to get off..!!!Well here is what I have been working on/dealing with insurance
My son had a woman pulled out in front of him in on 4 lane freeway, in my I30. The insurance company totaled it (it's can definitely be fixed), so, with the $2900 they gave me for the car (and got to keep it), I found this 2004 I35 and it's DECKED OUT. I've never had a car with 4 heated seats and a heated steering wheel, but I do now. 98k on the odometer. I think the only missing option is heated mirrors.
Pretty dam nice car for under $3k! I use this as our "family" car and take my mom (84) out to eat or the doctor, etc. It is SUPER COMFORTABLE! It's one of those ACT NOW OR IT WILL BE GONE deals and I had CASH. They wanted more, I gave them $2900, CASH. It talks!

Well shoot, if ya gotta run 240 out just bury a gas line out with it.. I didn’t think those came with a NG option..??Jason, how many sq ft are you heating/cooling? I would love to have a mini split but probably need 2 (one on both ends of my 30x40 shop). One thing keeping me from going ahead is the TRENCH I would have do dig across my circle drive and I really don't want to do that. The shop is 100' from my house, nearest connection for gas unless I went all electric. My 220 A/C unit suks about $100 in 2-3 daysso we rarely use it.
Thanks!
Marty
Heated outside mirrors for winter, just like the steering wheel. I drove all of my career and a Heated Fkn Steering Wheel would have been so dam nice! Its a winter use thing is all.4 heated seats is great, I dunno about the steering wheel though, and a heated mirror..?? I’ve seen it all now, stop the world, id like to get off..!!!
Gotcha, I’m spoiled out here in so. Cal.. freezing is, well, NEVER..!!Heated outside mirrors for winter, just like the steering wheel. I drove all of my career and a Heated Fkn Steering Wheel would have been so dam nice! Its a winter use thing is all.
I have 220 in the shop just no NG. If it were all electric, I was afraid it would cost a months check to pay the bill. I hope Jason can let me know how well it works tho.Well shoot, if ya gotta run 240 out just bury a gas line out with it.. I didn’t think those came with a NG option..??
Ah, I don’t know if you have them but solar panels work great for me.. At the end of last year I walked away owing 107.36 for the whole year.. take that Edison..!!!I have 220 in the shop just no NG. Do you live in an area with propane as an option? I recently installed a 120gallon tank for my shop and filling it was 160 bucks and should last all winter in Wisconsin with a 50k btu shop heaterI have 220 in the shop just no NG. If it were all electric, I was afraid it would cost a months check to pay the bill. I hope Jason can let me know how well it works tho.

so if you stay with less than 120 gallon tanks they can be put right against a building even if you manifold them together for 240gallons. Just an fyi if that makes your decision easier especially considering 120 gallon tanks are fairly smallI sure do! I own 6 beautiful acres of land outside of town. I pondered putting a tank behind my shop or beside it (not a great look) BUT all the DSMs are taking up the room......![]()
No problem. Menards sells a pretty decent little shop heater that is really affordable and convertible to propane(includes the orifice tubes)I need to look at those tanks and get some ideas, and thank you for the knowledge.
I've lived on a farm all my life. Mom's 80 acres and 3 BR, 2 Bath plus basement, has LP gas and a big tank. Its probably 15' long or more. Been there all of MY life and runs the house so I have an idea about some of it.
Solar panels man, that’s the way..!!My little shop is 30x40x12. I run a 350k btu and a 35k btu set of heaters on K1 Kerosene (clean burning) when I need heat, plus 3 fans. It was 37 today but still 45 in the shop so YAY!
