When I was driving home tonight and want shift into gear the clutch pedal went all the way down to the floor and I manually had to pull it back up. When I try to shift again it want down and came back but there was definitely a lag in the pedal. I couldn't shift into gear for a little a bit and then it want in. When I got to a gas station and looked underneath there was a size of ###### a baseball leaking underneath where the transmission is. Bad slave or master cylinder? I do have a ACT clutch in there.

the slave is probably leaking but i usually replace both the master and the slave together. many times have i tried to replace one and the car comes back for the other.

I am going to get underneath the car today to get a better look at it since it was getting dark last night. Definitely was leaking though... Think I'm going to just replace both just to make sure of everything. thanks guys

I had that issue before it's the slave cylinder. But if I were you I would replace the master and the slave. Once one of them goes bad eventually the other will to.

im with you on this one. i have done clutch master cylinders and then the slave goes out. so now when i do one i always recommend the other.

i mainly see clutch master cylinders leak from the push rod area onto the carpet. when yo see fluid on the ground under the engine most of the time its the slave cylinder.
