Not trying to reuse and yes i beleive its alumiumdang!! is it aluminum? are you trying to re-use?
I tried a rubber mallet all the way around tried to chisel it too after using some pb blast gona try a heat gun when i get home and ill post a picture thenDid you try hitting it with a hammer? maybe include a pic so we have a better idea of what you are up against?

BFH Worked great didnt even need the chiselBFH and a chisel, go to town. You’re not reusing it. It should come off easily.
