Pretty easy to check. Measure out 10mm from where your tire currently sits and there ya go. You'll need clearance for suspension travel, so take that into account. My guess would be you won't have the clearance you need with lowering springs installed.

When I installed my spacers, I had to adjust my coilovers to bring the ride height up a good bit before the wheels would clear. With the car low, the tires would rub the fenders when I hit bumps and such.
 
That doesn't make any sense? If 10mm in close why would you want to go farther out? Did you mean 5mm? And you're most likely not lowered 2.5-3in. Look up your springs and see what they're rated at.
 
No with the 10mm I can barely fit a piece of paper in there. Im worried with all the lugs tight it would make it not work.

Why would tight lugs make it worse? If anything tightening the lugs would pull the wheel inside more, thus away from the fender edge.

Would I have to roll fenders with 15mm spacing?

If you have paper thin clearance with 10mm, going to a 15mm spacer would push the wheel outward more, closer to the fender lip.


Do you understand how the spacer works? The wider the spacer, the more the wheel will be pushed away from the hub.
 
I dont think he understands how spacing works, especially when he doesnt even list offset in a thread about wheels.
 
I understand how offset works. My offset is 40. I went and looked at it again and the spikes are actually hitting with 10mm. I thought it wasn't but it is. So the people running 15mm spacers are you having to roll your fenders?

See this question is still soley dependent on the offset they run. The higher the offset the more the wheel will be in towards the wheel well itself. What you would need to do is measure 25mm from your hub to understand where it will be located. Since you have a 40 offset wheel(I'm assuming + offset) and would add 15mm the offset drops. so simply make that measurement and youll know all you need too. or google offset calculators.
 
It sounds like you already need to roll your fenders using a 10mm spacer. SO using a 15mm spacer, and pushing you wheel and tire out farther, you will definitely need to roll and probably pull your fenders. USE A SPACER LESS THAN 10MM IF YOU WANT TO FIT WITHOUT ROLLING YOUR FENDERS.
 
I have the Eibach pro kit on my 2G and I just did the brembo conversion so I had to go with a set of 15mm spacers all the way around to clear the calipers and I dont have any issues, so you should be ok.

Do you have any pics of it? I want to see how much it sticks out and to see clearance.
 
These are 18" wheels with 225/40R18 Kumho tires and Eibach Pro springs on KYG shocks and 15mm spacers to clear the brembos I have no issues hitting the wheel wells

Can you get a good pic of the front? Im not worried about the front back but the front I am. Sorry for the long wait time I been super busy.
 
Op--are you running slip on spacers or bolt-on?

Do you have OEM wheel studs or aftermarket extended ones?

Having a pro roll your fenders shouldn't be too much a headache--anywhere from 60-100 bucks to do all four corners.
