Wheel spacer. Help me out

I want to buy wheel spacer but I have no idea how many inches I want. I want it to stick out little bit. You can explain or post up some picture to show me and tell me what size is that spacer. Please help me out and thank you.

I wouldn't recommend any wheel spacers, they increase stress to hubs, and can throw you suspension goemetry out of shape, in other words, they might look cool, but can cause increased tire wear, and increased suspension wear/problems, just saying

Aweee that suck to know. Is there anything to stick out more little bit or else?. If spacer doesnt effect very much, I might just take it but I have no idea.

You could always get a 3mm to 8mm spacer. This would give you some extra width, and not stress to much.

I have been running spacers on a few car with no signs of added wear or suspension issues.

You should be fine with a small spacer but you will not be getting the look you want. You would be better off getting rims with a big lip

Why not just run a wider tire? I would absolutely not run a wheel spacer. There are plenty of different rims out there that come in many different offsets.

A wheel with a wider offset is same us running a wheel spacer... just built onto wheel. Stress level is the same. I would recomwnd finding a set that bolt on though. Much safer than just a small disc spacer.

Thank all of you. I was going to be stupid to buy wide spacer but now all if you made me undetstand what I can do. Maybe Im going to buy 8mm.

i was going to recommend he bought a different car. our poor DSM's get harassed enough with out people making them look like the belong on the next 2 fast 4 furious n00bs about to b3 bubbas girlfriend movie.

Whatever spacer you decide to run, get some extended lugs to match.

the lug nut needs to be able to make about 7 full turns. a THIN space (4mm) will usually fit and still be acceptable.

I've got 4 bolt on spacers sitting around. The bolt pattern doesn't fit 5Zigens (bolt on's stick out a bit and some rims can't fit). I never did install them. I will post a pic.
