throw out bearing spacer

On my 97 eclipse gst the throw out bearing locked up and it grabbed onto the spacer that goes on the imput shaft to the transmission and ate it all up. Does anyone know where i could order one? or what the name of it would be?

You can get the sleeve from the dealership. Depending on how bad it is eaten up it should be repairable.

You're talking about the metal cover over the input shaft? It's called a quill, shouldn't be hard to get one.
