Throw out bearing recommendations

Ive read on here people go with the OEM as replacements.

and to stay away from ACT and the rest of the aftermarkets..

Should i stick with a OEM one?

I ordered my ACT clutch from RRE and the TOB I got was the same as the OEM one I ordered from STM. Maybe they swapped the TOB out with an OEM one for me, idk.

I purchased and installed a act lightweight flywheel, act 2600 6 puck sprung and act pressure plate, act throwout bearing. Put it all back together (AWD), and the throwout bearing was making a hell of a whining noise. Took it back apart, re used the old stock one. NO noise.

Moral of the story: I will never use anything other than oem mitsubishi.

They make very high quality replacement parts.
