####,
Well I have not gotten a chance to get to the dyno or get a real good tune out of it but thought it was time for a few pics of it installed.

I should be getting to the dyno in the next few weeks to get a good tune on it and hopefully see some nice numbers. Full boost(26psi) is right before 5k. I will be wrapping the manifold soon and doing a few other things to try and get it to spool a bit quicker but who knows.

Dude that's bad ass. I am looking at the s258. Hopefully pushing it at 25 psi and see how it does. I see a slim fan there I guess it won't clear the stock one. That's truely badass though. What are you shooting for?

Nice. I am thinking about a bw turbo when I buy my next one. The 362 is about the same as a 35r right?

Yeah same price range maybe even a little cheaper.

As far as the oil supply. Im not even going to begin to discuss that debate on here as there is far too many of those debates already going on.

The manifold is from Tim @ Punishment racing.

Awesome looking setup. That slimline is going to melt so fast if you don't get some type of shield on it. I would convert that one to a pusher fan in front of the rad. :thumb:

Yeah, you can see it has melted a little bit. At this point I am keeping the fan on at all times but this weekend it will be switched to a pusher fan.

And you get better aerodynamic tech! At least the same spool speed with a rebuildable journal bearing core.

Still, the hx40 pro is the poor man's gt35r. Superfast spool, flows over 60 lbs/min, and likes pump gas. The BW turbos new should definately be the choice. Considering price vs. potential for a new turbo. . .

Nothing to update as of yet. I am doing a little maint on the car before I head to the dyno. Not that this affects the car on the dyno but I wanted to get my clutch assembly fixed before I head to the dyno. I need to pull it out and weld it soon.

i dont think this was ever answered, but what hotside did you go with? and what gear were you in to get that spool number? I'd like to hear some more exact numbers on spool, i've been considering this turbo.

Sorry about that. prostreetdsmx1 answered it. I have the .70 ar hotside.

As far as spool goes, I am seeing 25psi about 5100 rpm in 3rd gear. I have found a few small issues that are probably causing me a bit of lag on my spool. I hope to get these things fixed soon but realistically I might get full boost around 4800 after these things are taken care of.

No you have a big spool issue because everyone I see and hear from with thsi turbo spool around 4500 area with the t3 .70ar manifold and you have a tubrular too. Def check for boost leaks and sounds like a retune wouldn't hurt if you haven't already.

This turbo really does seem to be the best alternative for anyone looking for something with 35R power without quite as much lag. The mid range and torque alone make it amazing but with this better spool and holding boost better between shitfts just makes it icing on the cake.

Yea 5100, seems a little high i thought it was more like 4500'sh for this turbo in that hotside.

Could you please link some information on what others are getting these to spool at? I have been looking and not finding much.

I have already said there is some issues causing me to spool slower that are in the works of being taken care of. I still dont see myself getting this thing to full spool by 4500 but who knows. I am takeing it easy on it right now as I need to get the pcv setup fixed(managed to soak the bay in oil this weekend from the dipstick popping out). Once that and a few leaks I have found are fixed I will begin tuning the car better. I am thinking about once these things get fixed trying to tune on just pump alone and see how far I can get it and then maybe adding in the meth.

Yeah trust me man i'm not knocking your setup I know you still have to get stuff straight don't we all. Yeah do a search put in S362 and you will find a couple guys running it and get an idea where spool should be. Think about it the big stink about these is they are like 35r's but spool faster and are more effeicent. A 35r hit's full boost about 4800-5k with similar hot side.

I did search and have even been looking on link forums to see if I can find any logs with a similar setup and have not found any. Not trying to be rude but I want to see a log not just someone saying it should spool sooner. I hope it will spool sooner as well but I am not finding proof that people are getting these to spool sooner.
