The HTA will be a much better street turbo, but the BW are awesome turbo's, I really like the fact they are not BB.

By the way Sniper, there is a member on our forum (CTDSM) that runs an S362. He took me for a ride on it at 20psi and pump gas, I was super impressed! He did a 1st and 2nd gear pull and they were pretty much useless, very laggy, but I imagine in third gear you would be seeing boost in the 4-5k range. He made well over 400+awhp on low boost (20ish).

Ya Josh it is going to take me a while to decide on this one. Good thing i have about a year to do my build. I already have a block so i will slowly start to build it. Who is runnin the s362?

I had no idea it was going to be anything out of the norm until reading that. I had planned on just putting an order in with atp turbo for my stainless stuff and vband needs.

I will be running a bolt on 362 soon. I will go t3 after a while but for now it will stay bolt on. I just welded a Vband flange on the compressor outlet. I can say with a bolt on hsg it is a pain to get it in place. The comp outlet dumps square on the motor mount and you have to dent the water pipe pretty good. I dont know if there will be fan clearance issues yet but I will find out soon. It looks like only 2" between the compressor elbow and the aluminum radiator.

It's likely machined the same way. I'm still waiting on my activation for bullseyes forums, then I'll get some straight answers.

Don't think he wants people to know, unfortunately, but if you have more questions about it I can ask him if its ok for you to message him about it.

Good luck with the build, the car already looks sexy, soon it will have the power to back it up.

The T4 .83 a/r turbine housing is the only odd ball all the rest are standard off the shelf 3" or 4" v-band setups.

The T4 .83 is originally from a John Deere. You can get the flange and clamp from BEP or Johm Deere (can't remember the part number right now)

When you ordered that turbo the vendor should have told you this.

I'm getting scattered info at best. Do you have any way of finding the JD part #..? I've been searching around, no luck yet though. Bullseye has the flange and clamp to sell, but then map told me it will be coming with a clamp.. (but didn't mention a flange) So we'll see whats what when map actually gets the snail in their hands. Also I thought it was going to be a 3" outlet, but that link I posted says 4".. Take it as it comes, we'll figure it out.

Just got my hotside and manifold back from ceramic this afternoon. It's bolted in, but more bad news. Going to have to relocate the alt and atleast get a smaller oil filter to try and free up some space for an exhaust... sigh.. :coy: So I'm trying to find a relocation kit asap, but they are sold out for another 10days, so used I go if I can find one.

I've been in Spain for the last month, so I haven't even gotten the car started yet. I will be home in the next few days and will be getting an entirely new exhaust put on the car. Once that is done, I have a few other little things to do, like put the front bumper cover back on, install the new fuel feed line, install the new catch can setup, misc crap like that, and then just triple checking everything before I crank it over for the first time with the new setup. I'm thinking it should be about 2 weeks for me.

Lots of people are saying the HTA3582 will spool faster than the S362....Not sure about that. I haven't seen any definately proof of that.

Honestly I think people are splitting hairs here. Both are great turbos should perform about the same.

I would put money on back to back pulls (35r HTA vs s362, both T3 turbine sides that are close .82 for the 35r and .85 for the BEP) that the s362 makes more torque sooner, and has a wider power band, then the 35r.

Mine as of a couple days ago. Exhaust is being built as we speak.

As for the battle between which turbo is better, it is getting a bit old. Different strokes for different folks. Chose what you think suits you best, based on the information you have at hand. And let others do what they want.

The S362 is nice because there are a couple of different turbine wheels that you can use that will allow you to tune for topend power or quicker spool.
