running with cas 180 degrees off? 40 degrees of advance?!?

game_hunter, I did have the cas in backwords and my car no longer smokes. I actualy have torque now and stuff. The cel is still on (knock sencer) and it backfires a little when I shift but, alot better. It seems as if I am getting my timing pulled above 10psi or so. It pulls hard until 10psi and then the power just drops off after. It is running slightly leaner after I switched the cas the right way. It creeps to 20psi no matter what so, I am staying off the throtle for now.

If your getting a Knock Sensor CEL the ECU is going to pull timing across the board.
