Running really bad when cold...

heres the problem...whenever my car is cool and i go to start it, it hesitates for about 2-3 seconds,then starts..that's the 1st problem...now i try and take it down the road and it barely will run, like it's not gettin enough fuel or something(lagging)..when it warms up it runs better but sometimes still cuts out???..Anyone have one suggestions?

Could be dozens of things but I'd start off checking for vacuum leaks first. Then on to plugs, plug wires, weak coil, fuel filter, etc, etc, etc....

Do a boost leak test.
Do a boost leak test.
Do a boost leak test.
Repitition promotes understanding.
Then check your plugs. What kind are you using?
Then check for a weak coil. etc. etc. etc.
