I ordered a full ss' 3 inch turboback from ATR performance. Costed me 850$ shipped to my door. Was very simple ordering it and arrived at the house and arrived in exactly 7 buisness days. Package was nicely packed and seemed packed sturdy.
Installation wasnt too hard. It was a little different dealing with clamps as opposed to stock/buschur stye bolt connections but overall i thought this way was easier. downpipe went on with a little bit of fuss but of course all downpipes do anyways. The only problem i have with the install is the pictures in the directions were horrible, i didnt even look at them once for installation. Although all you need is common sense to finish the project, it would be nice to have a few pics to reassure you.
On to performance and sound. The exhaust greatly increased spoolup on my 16g/hks 264/2g mas combo. Topend is alot better obviously. i dont have dynocharts but the car pretty much hauls ass right now and is an easy 12 second car. If it helps any, this exhaust flows so much that i cant keep my boost under 21psi right now(need to port wastegate).
This exhaust sounds by far the best out of any i have heard. I wouldnt even consider buying an apexi n1, matter of fact i laugh at the people who have them. This atr sounds ####ing awesome, and i mean awesome...to where v8's would be intimidated. It was incredibly loud at first but after i tightened it down a little and added a groundstrap it has decreased considerably to where its not too too loud.
Overall im 100% satisfied with the full atr turbo-back. i believe its the best exhaust money can buy for a 1g dsm and would reccomend it to anyone considering making any amount of power in the future. enjoy the pics.
