Well everything is fix!!! the tial is on, the arp turbo to manifold studs are on. had to change the coil on plug set, keep blowing coils:notgood: went back to the stock ignition set up. All i can say is the car is freaking insane! fellas you tell me what you think! Take a look at my 141mph log. i am going to the dyno again tommrrow, with everything fixed i think the borge 256 will shine. my guess, and my guess is about 90% right, i think i will put down about 460hp. the only change other than fixing the gaskets is methanol injection;) so i will be dynoing with 93pump and 50/50 methanol injection and about 27psi of boost instead of c16 50% and 93 50%! I am very excited because this is the most powerful my car has ever felt since i've been in the dsm game :thumb!!!!: I will post the dyno results tommorrow night!

Are you running a wb or map in either of those logs?

No. My wideband 02 sensor has died. I do know this, the dsmlink af ratio was somewhat close to the accuracy of my wideband when it was working. we will try to tune the car tommorrow as well if we have enough time. my buddy just bought one of those pontiac G8 He has never been to the dyno and swear the car is making 400 whp i just could not help but to :p. so he is also going with me to dyno his car!

Well I got brave last night and turned it up to 30psi just to see. afrs were still 11-11.2 getting a little knock like 5 counts 5500-6000 rpm. Bye the way 30psi is as high as my boost gauge goes. Let me tell you what I think the sweet spot for this turbo is 30psiROFL Night and day difference Im running 9 gal of pump and 3 gal of e85
car pulls hard It pulls and pulls. I turned it back down to 26psi untill dyno tune. My friend has a green and he put down 457 @28psi. Now are turbos are little bigger than a green so you should put down more than that. All in all though I think you 90% really close to your guess.:thumb:

 i didn't get a chance to dyno the car. on the way there my car started overheating. we can't figure out what is going on. had to have it towed home. it will have to sit for now until i get some time to figure out what is going on. my buddy thinks that the headgasket has blown.

That sucks to hear.

I am no expert but I was looking at your last logs and to me you were getting alot of knock. You should not get any knock when you are using methanol injection.

Yeah i did notice that. but I guess when you start to make 450 plus Hp even small amounts of knock is not so small. I have been from time to time noticing the 16lbs radiator cap coming lose when i would do a very hard pull. this has been happening for quite some time, going all the way back to my evo III 16g. So whatever weakness existed the bigger turbo took advantage of it! concerning the knock with the meth, I think i just got a little carried away with the boost and timing. when I first installed the system there was no knock. i turned up the timing and boost until i got a little knock, but what i failed to do was when it started to show knock I should have, like the instruction indicated, at the first sign of knock pull at least 2 degree of timing back. but in the meantime the head has to come off :| Any suggestions on which headgasket? I am currently using a standard cometic!

Sorry to hear, I was looking forward to your dyno numbers. Thats how it goes sometimes though. More power, more drama...
When i go in to freshen up my motor I was thinking of Oringing the head. Maybe you should do that?
Though a lot of people have sucess with just ARP head studs and mitsu MLS gaskets though .
What kind of boost do you think you will be running daily? Did you have a stock head gasket before?

Daily boost about 25psi. I had a cometic standard gasket before.

Also go to auto zone they have this cooling system tester. You basically screw it on where the radiator cap goes pump it up to 13-16 psi and look for leaks. If there are none put the stock cap back on. Have someone start the car you look at the tail pipe see if there is any water that shoots out. If there is thats not a good sign If you do a leak down test you will know for sure. cooling system tester will show you leaks if you have any at all.

Dsmlink software is downloadable for free...

Now to keltalon. I could have told you not to head to the dyno if i had looked at your thread earlier. Your coolant temps shoot from 206 to 220 by the end of that 141mph run, TOO HOT!!!!!!!
And you are getting a decent amount of knock. I would use a stock headgasket unless you are getting the head decked before sticking it back on. Non composite headgaskets don't like to seal if the surfaces aren't perfect.

Go into link and set you check engine light to come on when she knocks and lower the coolant temp number at which your check engine light comes on. That will help you know a lil more of what's going on when you are driving and not looking at the laptop. I have mine set to come on at 1 degree of knock retard and like 214 degrees coolant temp. I like to keep things safe!! Also, use your stock boost gauge for one of those two, your choice.

Thanks for the incite. I was totally unaware that on that pull coolant temp was that high, and your are right, If I knew of this, the dyno would have been rescheduled! Very good point on the check engine light:(

Keltalon, here's what is always displayed when i log my car:

-RPM, knock, timing, boostest, wideband, front o2, coolant temp, TPS, intake temp, and airflow. With those, you really can't miss anything bad going on with the car.

With dsmlink, you can select what you want the stock boost gauge to display. Off the top of my head, it can do knock, coolant temp, front o2 and i forget the rest. Or it can be left for boost which is useless since with this many mods, you have a boost gauge. DSMLINK has soo many features...best thing for these cars!

If I were you I would step up to a bigger nozzel for the Meth. Also set your CEL to come on at 2-3 degree's of knock.

Also for 880's your Global should be at -48 or -49 (which ever gets your fuel trims closer) Your taking away too much fuel globally hence the high STFT.
