O.T. SorryWell the clutch is in and the car run great. This 2700lbs pressure plate has a very nice pedal feel compared to my act 2600lbs. I will be breaking it in here inaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa a day or two. Boost issue is also resolved! Therefore I will be hitting the dyno is about a week so stay tuned.
O.T. Sorry
where did you purchase a 2700lb ACT?
Well the downpipe is slotted and what makes it worse is the punishment racing o2 is also slotted I have no idea how the misalignment happened but its pretty bad. I am still comtemplating as to what I am going to do to correct the problem. Its just a relief to know what the problem is! Yeah 419 dyno was with the s256 I used 5 gallons of c16 and 5 gallon of 93 octane. Haven't dynoed it with the s259 yet. I will have to find the invoice to answer what turbine wheel i have Go ahead and get one. The turbo has so much potential its not funny!
By the way the t3 set up is going on very very very soon.
i was thinking of getting that clutch for my s259 setup, im looking forward to hearing feedback after some dyno runs and after youve beat it a bit!
I was also looking into the clutchnet disc with the springs that are all sealed in combo'd with a act 2900 pp
That sucks ass. You just wasted the felpro permatorque. I reused a comtic that I had. I had bought a permatorque drove the car and spun a bearing around 4 moths ago. I had this comtic and said screw it. I put it back on its held for a while. 30psi its not liking it. I have reorderd a new felpro permatorque. It will be going on soon with the new T3 set up. Well Im pretty sure the block is still flat. YOu must have gotten your car really hot for it to warp. I have ran my car a little past the middle not to the completly hot but close. Im going to pull the head and take it to the machine shop make sure its flat before I put my 200 headgasket on there. My car only over heats on long hwy pulls @ 30psi. It could be the head lifting too. Im not sure on that one. I've thought about buying the l19 headstuds. I think Im going to wait on that though.

Well I will make this review nice and quick I have ran several clutches in my car from clutchnet to sbr. All of these disc i ran with an Act 2600lbs pressure plate. By far this is the best clutch set up for me. The pressure plate peddle feel is not as hard as the act 2600lbs but the clutch holds the power very nicely. I guess the double sprung disc helps with the chatter, because the engagement is not as harse as the clutchnet 6 puck disc I ran a while back. Here are some pics
Very nice!
Are the springs covered like that on both sides?
Which exact clutch did you get again?
I just found out that im getting like 4k from my tax return so im going to get to do a bunch of stuff to my car here soon!
i think i might go with that clutch as well. It looks like a nice design.
Can you shift better than the act at high rpms now? (7k+) Ive always had trouble shifting good with these damn act2600's. I do however like the stiff pedal pressure, it gives nice feedback.
It kind of looks like you got a little spark blow out on that pull.
