Hoping someone would be willing to give some advice here. First, my setup: '91 Talon TSI, Auto, AWD. ECMLink V3 with ECMLink cable. I am getting the following error message:
Before posting here, I have gone and read all that I could find on the no connection issue. I have verified that my OBD1 ports have the correct voltage, I have checked all fuses, etc. I have downloaded the newest software/drivers, uninstalled the newest versions, reinstalled the newest versions, etc. My laptop recognizes(?) the cable on com3:
Unfortunately, I'm in northwest Arkansas and there's no one around that I know of with a known working cable to test.
Is there anyone willing to remote in to my laptop to check for things I may have missed, or anybody with other suggestions? I believe that I've checked everything, but won't be offended if someone calls me out. I just want to get this thing running!
