That is called a front "ROLL STOP". It keeps the motor from "rocking" in the bay. The only 2 motor mounts are the one on the drivers side and the one on the trans side. Let me see if I can find that roll stop bracket. :)

No luck with PP. Someone will surely see this and can get with you. I picked up a few sets when they were more common but I build motors so they are needed.
Since yours is an auto, you need bracket #506. It is stamped on the part, FYI.
Wish it was that one - I have two of those! 😡. I’m looking for the lower front mount that attaches to the block just behind the turbo.I appreciate you looking for me!
Looking to buy a front motor mount - the portion that bolts to the block - for a ‘91 Talon TSi, AWD, Auto. This is the mount that attaches to the block behind/just to the side of the turbo. Not sure if this portion is model specific.Price...
Care to elaborate?People aren't making spacers. They're buying them from CTSV swap.com. As well, you can get a set on eBay for $37 that are very close and just require turning 2mm off on the hub OD. Just mentioning this because most people...
I build it with leftover 3" pipe from my last 2G exhaust build.
It had a cheap universal yokana 12" resonator paired with a Dynomax super turbo #17744.
And i used a high flow 3" yonaka catalytic converter. It made a cheap and good sounding...
It is the 5/5 TD05HF turbine, so if that’s the one you speak of then yes 😂.I purchased it cerakoted, I’m hoping it holds up. It was more of a it happened to be cerakoted and I bought it vs I bought it based on that aspect. Will definitely...
20 years since I last owned a DSM. Since then I have gone through like 50 cars. I always told myself I would go back and build another. My first project car was a 1990 Gold GSX. I spent all my money on it, didn't have a clue back then, but it was...
If it's a question of budget that's certainly an option. New seals are easy and quick work on that stocker. They're so cheap in fact no reason to not replace all of them and all gaskets.
Ah, got it. The stocker is on my engine stand and I’ll be going through it and replacing the different seals.I’m leaning towards breaking the built motor and selling the parts to fund the rest of the resto.Bryan
Mech Addict: You hit the nail on the head. Life has dealt me a couple of unseen issues and I’m not entirely comfortable with the longevity of performance parts in a daily.
Paul - thanks for responding. I was hoping you’d give your thoughts. Car is just going to be a daily - as much of a balance between fun and dependable. Not sure if I understand your second point. The built motor was assembled by me from new...
Have a bit of a dilemma and am looking for some wisdom from the masters...'91 TSi, AWD, AutoI have two motor options and I'm uncertain which to choose.
1. Stock motor, 102K, good compression, doesn't burn oil but leaks oil like a sieve. TB...
