My 1g talons 14b is on it's way out. I need some advice on some turbos to replace It. Engine internals are stock , mods I have installed... Walbro 255 fuel pump, adjustable fuel press regulator, bigger aluminum intercooler piping and some tubular headers . Thing is the guy who sold me the car gave me a turbo along with it. I don't have it in front of me but I recall it being a garrett ar-50 t3/t4 hybrid. Would this turbo be acceptable? I can get more information and numbers sizes from the turbo when I get to it. If anyone can tell me what to look for on the turbo to actually pinpoint what I have I'll post what I find. + what more would I need if I were to install such a turbo

to install a t3/4 turbo you will need a new manifold/o2 housing and i belive a down pip and if my memory serves me the manifold will need to be extrenaly gated so you will need one of thos as well. a t3/4 is kinda overkill with those supporting mods but hey if ya got it

Looks like he covered it. a MBC would be needed as well. A tune.

Also as he said its a bit overkill, pm me if its not china ebay crap ill take it LOL

If you're looking for a new turbo to use instead of the hybrid until you have better supporting mods, there is a 14b that just went up in the classifieds if you can get to it in time. I'm kinda considering it too LOL. OR you can always just rebuild it for pretty cheap. I just rebuilt my evo3 for $40 from a guy on ecrater.
