But what if you see a group of 3 good looking women that need a ride? And the two sitting in back have no legs? haha

Schroth is hard to adjust or Corbeau? I would like Schroth but they are 3 times as much and can't afford them, but if Corbeau's suck I guess I will wait until I find something better.9D9 MITSU RS said:I don't really like my corbeau harnesses. They don't feel secure. My friend has Schroth harnesses and they are a pain in the ass to adjust... that's what you want. You won't loosen them as you move forward.

The bar is out of my price range. Is this less safe than stock belts? What if I mount the harnesses to a rear upper strut location?Attack Eagle said:you have to mount the upper harness close to 90 degrees to the seat. If not if you are in an accident the straps pulls down on your shoulders and can compress the spine (not good!) or break the collarbone...
thats why you need the upper harness bar.

Let me correct myself with this: Racey look for someone that's not loaded.dave99gst said:I dont know if its just me or what.. But
"racey look" = Racing seats + harness+roll bar - carpet.

Mattitude v1 said:Forget I said racey. I like the lightweight clean look of no backseats. But I want to know what you guys think about the safety of a 3-point harness bolted to the C pillar, probably Schroth. If anyone knows of a site cheaper than $160 please post.
I'd like to see some pics of your bar. I'm assuming that you have one, as you said "just make your own bar" likes its as easy as making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I don't see a problem with bolting it to the c pillar. This is where the SFI Foundation says to do it. I realize that harness bars are the ultimate solution, but it's not that easy, especially when you have no experience with "making bars."greyforestgst said:just make your own bar![]()
its just a plain ole bar that your harness bolts to. dont bolt your harness to the floor, dont bolt it to the c pillar, dont bolt it to a rear strut bar. make yourself a nice bar right behind the seats so that your spine doesnt collapse in a crash.
oh, and i have the same back seat setup as you
i would hate someone to rip that off! anyways see ya around.
