My local speed shop is having another dyno day so im thinking about removing my driveshaft and transfer case so I can get on the 2wd dyno. Has anyone eles done this? Is there any long term effects on the viscous cupling for not having any resistance in turning? Any input would be great!

Don't do it. You won't get accurate readings and it could cause catastrophic damage to the VC. I haven't heard good things about using a VC eliminator either.

any one eles feel the same?

You will destroy your viscous coupling if you don't use a VCE or have a welded center diff.
