Access denied for a dyno

The topic pretty much says it all guys, i'm beat on a dyno and that's just it. So my question is how can I be ensured my car will be tuned as finely as possible without the use of a dyno. I'm pretty sure I have everything I would need besides the actual dyno ie. gm 3" maf, maf-t, afc-2, zt 2 wideband and the ECU is eprom w/stage 3 chip. Does anyone else have the no dyno access problem that would be able to help me out? I'm tryin to get as much power as possible out of the car thanks.

So you're running dsmlink2 and a stage 3 chip???? If you have dsmlink tune it like 99% of the other members on here using that wideband.

A stage 3 chip iand DSMlink would be mutually exclusive I would think, seeing as you can only put 1 chip in at a time.

Believe it or not the closest dyno is a few hours away down at SBR but I personally do not like SBR at all so that would lead me to find another dyno and the next closest is down in your area.

Idk where you're coming from (meaning direction of travel) but try Hybrid Dynamics in Irwin, they have a 2wd dyno .....and they're like the cheapest around

I was just at RRE tonight and they accually talked me out of going to the dyno if i wasnt looking for a number. Then they walked me though the Zeitronix WB 02 usage and Im like OK Ill take the WB for 280$!

Basicly your going to the dyno FOR the WB and it just so happens that theres a dyno there too!

Look into it and see if its for you.

I want to know why do you still have a afc-2 if you already have dsmlink? Wire the wideband to dsmlink set the maft-t to zero and tune the airflow tables with dsmlink to get the correct readings for the gm maf. Then tune with the wideband at your desired air fuel target. Shouldn't be that hard

Man, he's got the DSM world's most unique set up. A logger, DSMLink, MAFT, an SAFC II, AND a stage 3 chip. Shit you must be running 2 ECUs with 2 OBDII com ports. Something’s wrong with this thread....


Now, don't take this the wrong way... but this sounds like "I've read half a dozen threads here on DSMTuners, memorized some acronyms, and posted a completely random thread to get in the mix..." Again, that's only what it sounds like

Boosted90gst, if you have dsmlink and the eprom ecu then you don't need safc2 or the pocketlogger. What do you have actually installed in your car?

Rage Is correct, My car isn't even running yet i'm hoping to have it done by the end of the week. But thanks for the imput guys atleast I know now that I should be alright since I took all the proper precautions and bought everything! Most of the parts I got a sweet deal on and couldn't pass up.
