My friend got one and we chnged springs/retainers/, cams, lifters with the head on it... He had a great results and we never had a problem..:D

I agree with what Andy said, but I wouldn't do the oversized valves. My reasoning being that some tuners, including mine, have tested heads with O/S valves and standard valves back to back and have gained nearly nothing. Also, most machine shops don't have the proper tools to enlarge the ports to make the valve able to take advantage of the larger opening area. Another thing that you run into is that if you ever have the valve seat damaged, time for a new head since you already have o/s valves. Just follow the KISS motto (keep it simple stupid). Like Andy said, get springs/retainers and a good set of cams, upgrade the valves but just go standard. If you want the good setup, get supertech ss intake and inconel exhaust valves. That will be a winning combo for a 500hp setup.
