ok so i bought a upper strut bar from eBay and the company sent me a rear tie bar instead now i believe there are going to ship me a free strut bar so now i am wondering how do you install a rear tie bar all the posts ive read said it dosnt do any thing or help but i think i may just put it there and see for my self but there is no how to on installing thee things so dose any one have and experience with this?

Only thing I can give you is a friend's experience. The upper front strut bar, if its correctly setup helps. He commented that the rear lower bar helped the most and the rear upper helped too. Sorry, I know its not much.

It's pretty self explanatory once you look under the car. Unbolt the two ends from the rear suspension and unbolt the brackets and bushings holding it to the chassis. The bushings are a commonly worn part, and you should replace them with polies if you can.

if you are going to do anything to the suspension (unbolting anything) you will have to jack the car.
and the huge brace is cause its a convertable. its a body stiffener to compensate for the lack of a roof.

I'm on my iPod right now so it's pain in the but to give you links. Trying searching
Rm sway bar install
many pics and opinions.

I believe he is talking about a tie-bar or so called underbrace, and not a swaybar. He could look up 'Tanabe Sustec UnderBrace' thoug.

well you jack the car up and looking from the back. Although these pictures arent our car, it should give you some insight on just where to put it.
