Still wheel play replacing Inner tie bar

I finished replacing my inner tie bar but when I jack up the car, grab the wheel and try to move back and forth, it still moves moves. What else can it be?

Outer tie rod, possible wheel bearing, lower balljoint? Is the play to the wheel up and down or left to right?

Then it could still be the outer tierod or one of the ball joints.

Agreed on that one. If you can get someone to shake down the front and check the tie rod, and load up the balljoint and see if that has play.

Is it only on that side? Is there a lot of play? If its on both sides and all of your suspension parts are tight, it could be play in the pinion of your rack. But I wouldn't bank on that. Also make sure the lock nut is tight on the outer tie rod, I've seen some idiots do that before.
