Where the hell is the rear motor mount ? Guys i tried searching the newbie forum but no one seems to have a picture of where it is . I think my car may be mising it all together , thats why its so hard to find ! I just need a example .

Please help if you can

Also people are telling me to use "window weld " to make the mount more stiff and save money .. will this work ?

Thanks , Sean

It will be behind the engine/transmission. If you look at where the front roll stop is, the rear is on the exact opposite side of the bell housing. And yes, if you fill your mounts with Window Weld, it will stiffen them like Poly mount inserts do.

More like under the throttle body area. It's definitely not under the car, just really far back there.

from under the car it's hard to spot with the t-case installed, and with a stock egine bay you cna catch a glimpse of it by looking down behind the manifold with a light, it's at the front of the bell housing where the the engine and trans meet... is your engine rocking back and forth a ton or something??? they have been known to break and l th egnine move more than it should. (just wondering why you're looking for it LOL )

I hear and feel a vibration/knocking sound when the car first starts to roll and can feel it in between shifting when i really get on it . I looked at the front one and it was torn to shit so i replaced it got in the car and.., yup it was still doing the same thing :banghead:. I went fishing for the broken mount and i cant seem to find it . I think it might be missing all together .....

On another subject ...LOL

I replaced my front 02 sensor because of a CEL light , and i reset the battery drove for 5 miles and the same code came back on ! Anyone have ideas ? Yes i did the simple check list of checking wiring and retighting ect.. everything is plugged in ....:hmm:

that's the same symptoms i had when mty rear engine mount /roll stop broke... I would say to definitely get in there and get it fixed. it's a mofo to get to and work on if you're not that well versed in mechanics but it can be done the bolts are all 17mm except the 14mm that goes through where the two meet.. I like to get most of the from underneath with the t-case pulled

there's a thousand reasons the CEL light can come on, go to the parst staore and they will scan your OBD port for free (but investing in a logger or other way to read engine data and reset the codes is always a good idea)

ya its throwing the same code for the 02 sensor code as before and i just replaced it ....:banghead:

Which O2 sensor did you replace? If the code was for the downstream O2, then obviously replacing the upstream will have no effect.

So like Ed said, post up the code when you can.

thanks for being patient guys ,

i found the motor mount , that was a breeze . turns out the mount is ok but the bolt itself was completely missing ...LOL any how

the cel light code is P0130 : heated 02 sensor -bank 1 sensor 1 .. h02s11

same day i replaced the sensor [easy] then reset the battery drove for 10 miles shut the car off and boom CEL LIGHT back on ... i re torqued the sensor checked all the wiring and everything was 100% :ohdamn:

also recently read the code again and im getting a P0135 :heater condition bank 1 sensor 1

what the hell is going on ?.¿ :hmm:
