Ok I have DSMlink and I just put an aftermarket exhaust downpipe straight through test pipe and cat-back. I have the rear o2 disconnected. Do I have to make up the 02 eliminator, or since I have dsmlink with no CEL just leave the harness unpluged? I read the vfaq about the eliminator and also it doesn't say what wattage the resistors are for the install. Please help thanks

My new cat back had a bung for it. The old one i could out from under the car so i had to cut the wires and put the piece of pipe in a vice to break the o2 loose. I did that then just pluged the old one in the new hole. The wiring harness i just unpluged, that why i was asking if I should make the o2 elimintor or just leave in unplugged.

Only thing it will do is Trip the CEL, nothing else.

My CEL has been on for 2+ years now because of no rear o2.
Have you done a code check? How would you know if it's thrown another CEL if the light's been on the whole time?
Probably not a recommended method.

You have the link, just go to your DTC section and tell it to not check the rear o2. I don't have a rear o2 anymore, just took the whole thing out when i got the turbo back.
