Hey guys. Car is a 98 GST with 1G Head 1G SMIM (65mm port) with 1G NT Throttle Body(60mm port)

It's been asleep for a few years and I'm finally set on getting her daily driver worthy. Did a boost leak test, fixed the compressor cover leak & intercooler piping leaks. Rebuilt tb with mil-spec seals...

Anyway I'm getting off topic. I just wanted to know what you guys think of this mating surface and gasket seal. I wanted to make sure the pattern left on gasket is fine or should I be worried of some vital air restriction or escape. Would the FIAV or ISC work properly (non sensor related)?

Thanks for your time and input.

If your worried take a straight edge and make sure its all flat. If there is no surface rust there should be no issue with it holding a seal. That's what the gasket is there to help with. I'm not sure if others would recommend using copper gasket spray, I certainly wouldn't on the intake and throttle body, but maybe others would.

it looks good but hard to say with the gasket on the IM vs the tb itself. as far as surface prep, looks fine to me. check with a straight edge as tunernewb92 said.

i dont mind copper spray as long as its allowed to dry completely before application. i havent noticed any ill effects or sensor fouling due to its use.
