quick question on 4g64 alternator

hi my dsmers how all you doing today. i'm about to buy a 98 eclipse spyder non -turbo with the 2.4 motor. tight on money but want the car. problem is it won't make it to my house from where is currently located. the alternator is shot. my question is the 4g63 alternator the exact same. i can take the one out of my 97 talon tsi and put it on the eclipse just so i can get the car home. no mods just a straight bolt, plug and go. thank you in advance for your help.

It should fit, I'm using a 2.4L 90 amp alternator. I think the stock alternator is only 75 amps.
