Resolved 1G Quick Alternator Question

I just swapped out the alternator, but on the 12mm bolt there was 2 wires, the black wire attached to the clip on there and the power wire coming from the main fuse. Car has no power and acts like both ground and + are connected together. So im assuming its there. Am i correct? I should have blown the main fuse if thats the case but it looks fine. Thanks in advance.

Problem solved. Plastic piece on the alternator was half missing, i did not notice that. Replaced it and problem solved.

check your fusible links... they are the buldges on the power wires coming off the starter...
