Questions on maf translator

I have a data logger coming soon and I've been reading about how to tune the maf t and I have my maft set to my car and injectors am the rest the knobs are on zero would I be able to install this on my car and drive to say work or the store not gettin on it just so when my data logger comes all I have to do is plug it in and take off. An also will the maft affect fuel cut in any way? As far as getting rid of it?

Oh and it's a 1g stock injectors 16g obx exhaust manifold 3in exhaust no cats 272 BC cams walbro 255 afpr fmic

So your on stock injectors then I would just leave it zerod out or even install it. Just use the wideband to best get the tune, with the maft it's never going to really be spot on. Should saved for ecmlink even v3 lite $100 less. Can't really change a whole lot with stock injectors nor would it be really worth it and the safe factor you can't really change anything else in the ecu so you don't know how safe it is adding or minusing fuel. For the most part all you wanna do is lean it out no more then 11:1 on pump gas. Just keep your 16g at low boost so not hurting nothing.

Alright and I got it from my buddy low miles for cheap and in gonna be upgrading to 750s and I haven't been boosting because I'm waiting on my new front mount from vrsf because the one I have came with the car and the guy homemade it and its crappy that and my 16g actuator arm I can't get the bolt to spin so I can extend the arm to run lower boost I sprayed it with pb blaster and the whole arm spins I might buy a whole new actuator arm. I have the translator set to 1g 450s and the rest zero and then everything is off except 3in maf it's running fine but I'm not going into boost untill my new fmic and data logger it idles alot better now then with the stock maf thanks for the advice

1g and 2g 450cc are the same so saves you from refering to it differintly. You can get a 14b or find a 16g wastegate if having issues with that. Just trying to save you from blowing up. With stock injectors you really don't need do anything. Once you start upgrading more is when you start getting down and tuning and what not.
