question about rods and pistons

I was wondering if I can use 1g rods( from a 91 4g63) and 2g pistons in my '97 420a?

well what would be good internals for my 420a that is going to be turbo in a short time?

Go to neon forums and see what they have done to turbo those because they have the same motors. I bet you will find more info there.

You can still search the site and read up in the 420a forums. Youre a newbie meaning you cant post there.

Youre going to have to go aftermarket. You can also stay stock and run a Hahns kit at 5-7 psi.(http://www.hahnracecraft.com)

Eagle or Crower for rods, and Wiseco or JE for pistons, are the popular choices for the 420a.

With an appropriate fuel setup and tuning, the 420a's internals can handle around 12-14psi. ~8psi is the safe limit when utilizing a 12:1 FMU for fuel management - which most people use.
