Pistons and Rods?

Were is a good place to buy 2G pistons or evo pistons and stock 1G rods. Im getting ready to rebuild the lower end on my tsi and im wanting to run one of those pistons. Thanks for the help.

talk to whoever is going to be doing you machine work and ask them to call liberty engines and get pistons with your rebuild kit

I'm assuming you are runninga 6 bolt block? If you just want the pistons, hit up evolutionm.com . I picked up my evo8 rods and pistons for like $100 there.

The dealer is going to charge an abundance of money for anything new, even with a DSM club discount.

The cheapest possible would be to source your local forum, and check part-out threads. Take the pistons to a parts wash and clean them up.

Ouch. $100 for a new piston. I got all 4 of mine, including rods, for that, for a set with 35k miles on it.

I have some 6 bolt rods already machined for evo or 7 bolt pistons if you want them. Ill sell cheap since i just pulled them out and dont need them anymore. PM for more info. Thanks

Thanks for the help. I think the dealer ship would charge a lot of money. I cant remember the sight but you could buy four 2G pistons for $200 or four evo pistons for $300. I just cant find anyone selling them. I will try looking under the evo category. Thanks
