The constant power wire that leads to the lock cylinder is fused for 10amps. Yep, I didn't see the HVAC in the diagram the first time, but that can just be tied in to the engine on switch.

Voice recognition is rather easy these days, and you can get keypad controls in kit form for about $20.The coolest way to go would be RFID, you could have a credit card sized transponder in you wallet, that would allow the car to start only when the transponder is inside the vehicle.

The whole push button starter is pretty easy. Anybody who can install a remote starter can do it. Put a starter button on my friends jetta. We bypassed the ignition cylinder completely and used a sequence of hidden toggle switches to open the circuit to the button. Now he is is the only one in the world who can start his car. Except for me.. hehehe![]()
