I was wondering what the pros and cons were to having an O2 dump. I currently have one but im not sure if i want to keep it or not.

some say it increases spool time slightly.


I don't know how it would even affect spool as the pipe is closed until your boot level is reached..
It's just a cheaper way to have an external gate if on a bolt out housing IMO.
There are instances in the higher HP range where exhaust flow is crucial and a dump would be wanted but you are far from it
There is really no benefit of an o2 dump aside from better boost control....however the benefit of searching is much, much greater.I was wondering what the pros and cons were to having an O2 dump.
