Whoops, sorry for the delay. Yea, my talon was sold sometime in March. I've been so damn busy I didn't even get around to create a memorial thread for her. To answer the question, the car was running (and apparently is running great because I keep hearing that the kid who bought my car is racing it to kingdom come) great. I had a lot of concern after the rebuild because the car sounded like it had some MAJOR piston slap or valve tap, but it subsided greatly (reduced the sound to that of regular lifting tick) after about 500-750 miles. The car pulled harder than ever to the point where I was getting some really good 1.7 70-90 logs on DSMLink and literally flowing 49 lb/min with my little 50 trim @ 27-28psi/meth. Without a doubt the car was running at least 123-125mph before I let her go.

Overall she was a great build and a great experience. This thread is so nostalgic, I almost hate to see it end.

Yea man, seller's remorse hit big time this summer when I went to go down the shore and had no DSM to cruise with.

Man so many improper uses of sealants, grease, sprays and lube in this build. The thing is probably leaking like a pig right now.

Instead of zombifying a nearly 3-year-dead thread just to make a snide comment, why don't you make the effort to quote the offending posts and then explain to everyone in what way it should have been done differently? That would contribute a whole lot more.
