I have been working on the car, just not much to update. I mounted the Kirkeys, started the wiring process. I installed a fuel pressure gauge on the Aeromotive AFPR, and mounted a battery box. DSS sent sent me the wrong hub bearing before Thanksgiving so they have the correct one enroute. Meanwhile, I am contemplating what to do ignition wise. But it's progress. My deadline is to be done by Christmas. Hmmm....it's approaching real fast.

Happy New Year all. I know I am not really updating this, just a little frsustrated with a certain vendor who is really deflating my progress and enthusiasm for this project. In the meanwhile, I am just doing small little things here and there just to buy time but hopefully I can make some meaningful progress by the end of the month.

I installed a new rear wheel hub assembly weeks ago. The front wheel hubs ended up being ok, I was concerned I may need to change those since this car was rolled around with no axles installed. I installed, new brake lines for the front and ran them to the proportioning valve which is in the car. I would say 98% of everything under the car is situated. I am not a fan of the muffler and may end up switching that but for now, it will stay. I still need to get it mounted to the hanger in the back. I intend to bleed the brakes then set the car on the ground and start working on completing the ECU wiring. Remember this car has no factory wiring so it's a beast of a job....and I hate wiring! I installed the MSD in it months ago and just need to finish wiring some aux wiring from the Haltech.

Hey guys, still working on the wiring. I wired the Forced4 shift controller this past weekend, added fluids to the vehicle, still need to do the rear diff, but the car is rolling on the floor with all 4 wheels. It's slowly coming along. Just tying up loose ends here and there as I get time but it's slowly beginning to look like a car again. Inside is still a mess as I need to trouble shoot all the wiring before I do the final clean install. Last photo shows true ride height. Looks killer.

Plans for this weekend is finish my electric fuel pump wiring, add gear oil to the diff when I am back there and finish wiring for the radiator and auto trans fans. I also need to wire the alternator plug and find a belt to install on the alternator. Small annoying things that I have been lazy to complete.

Not much done this weekend since I discovered my electric fuel pump is dead. I ordered an Amazon special so should be here by this weekend. This is the pump that primes my fuel line. I did update the Haltech Elite 1500 with NSP software successfully and I am currently setting it up as I finish up the little wiring here and there.

New fuel pump was installed last weekend, primed the line, fixed a couple leaks I had from fittings that were not tightened down. Bad news seems to be like my MSD DIS2 box might be dead. It's not waking up. :( So, I might be going with a different ignition setup if I can't diagnose this issue.

This weekend I plan to wire the alternator plug, find the proper sized serpentine belt and finish up the wiring for the radiator electric fan and the trans cooler electric fan. I might get a new ignition panel that looks a little nicer with 4 switches instead of my current one.

A few changes I had to make. Car has been swapped over to stock ignition because the MSD box I have would not wake up. I also just wired in the IQ3 digital dash. I do not have the required 7-pin V-Net cable for this dash so it will only be displaying the tach for now. I still need to modify the 1G CAS since I am running the Kiggly pick up and figure out the belt system for the crank/WP and alternator. But it gets closer and closer. I wired in the radiator fan and need to jack the car up so I can finish the routing for the wideband harness, wire the A/T cooler fan and bleed all the brakes.

The car runs! For the first time in OVER 10 YEARS this car RUNS. Still plenty of things to do, I may need to get new injectors since I have NO data for the PTE 1600s I am running but it IS ALIVE!

I went ahead and got some new injectors and the car is running, idling decent but I have a fuel pressure issue I am experiencing when I crack the throttle. It's always something, but she idles perfectly with the DW2200cc/m injectors.

So guys, making two small changes to the car. I decided to purchase a Ross Machine 75mm throttle body. I feel this will be easier to set up with the accelerator cable I have and it's a nice new unit. I contemplated doing DBW (Bosch) but that setup uses FOUR AVI inputs and with an Elite 1500, I would have been left with only one free AVI, so I nixed that idea. Second change I am doing is to my fuel system pickup. I am going to attempt to feed the mechanical with an electrical fuel pump and slightly move it's location so it doesn't cavitate. I feel after doing this, I should be able to actually move the car out of the garage which I still haven't done because, my driveway slopes down and I can't move it back in by myself.

I will have an Accufab T/B for sale shortly if anyone is interested.

I reconfigured my fuel pump pickup and the car is able to rev a little without stalling so my previous setup had some issue. The car was able to move on it's own out and back into the garage so I was ecstatic as this was a milestone I had. The car is probably a little too low for that sewer pipe of an exhaust of mine. I don't feel comfortable yet to get it out of my inclined driveway just yet as i don't want to scrape and damage anything. Another option is to raise it an inch all around for added clearance. My Mustang is about the same height and I can carefully get it in and out of the driveway.

Throttle body came in yesterday. Exciting. Bolted right on, even the included hardware bolted perfectly to my Magnus IM. Swapped over the TPS and calibrated it in Haltech. Now, I just need to mount the accelerator cable and we will be in business. Note: The o-ring so no gasket needed. Well built piece. It was $299+shipp straight from their website BTW.

Finished mounting the throttle body. I had to shave the end of the cable so it could slide onto the the notches of the cable shaft wheel. This was the only modification I needed to do. I am using a 96 Galant accelerator cable. The spring is nice, firm and tight on this. I attempted to start the car but it would not start so I opened the cable and it started right up. I knew the problem right away so I went and adjusted the little screw on the side similar to our BISS and the car ran perfectly and would start and hold idle. I will need to go back and recalibrate the TPS again though but that was a very simple mod. I also replaced one of my broken hood latches so small progress today. This weekend I will do an oil change, try and raise the car an inch all around and attempt to drive it on my residential street.
