Lol, I think he since has started parting things out sadly. Last post was over a year ago if you hadn't noticed ;)

Lol, woops must have posted just after you did man.

Well my dd trailblazer SS hydro-locked and will need a new engine and I just don't have the money to squeeze that into everything else so the day I said and hoped would never come is here...I have to part out the talon. I was back and forth the past couple of months but always talked myself out of it even though I knew that it made more sense to go a different direction as my situation is just different now than it was when I was updating the project like everything week or so. With 3 cars and two with go fast needs the talon had taken a back seat to the TBSS anyway. I will posting in the classified section shortly but just want to say thanks for everyones support along the way and sorry I couldn't pull threw with this build but life must go on..
Too bad he never finished. Could have been a sweat car. :notgood:
Yeah sorry for the revival just thought I'd put his closing word for those who stumble upon this thread and didnt know about his blog as well.

Just thought I'd also let you guys know that I picked up his shell, but I have not made too much progress on it. Check out my blog if you want to see what it looks like now.

Oh my gawd. just read through 26 pages to get to this.... :(
saun you have inspired many through your hard work and dedication.
im sorry this didnt work out for you :sosad:

Inspired? Who? Must be an n/t guy thing... :p

I haven't seen him around in a while though. I bout a Ford Lightning o I joined a few other perf truck sites and saw Sean around till he got perma banned from the big TBSS site for, well, being Sean LOL.

I definitely wish him the best and know he moved on in life and if he is reading this. Your TB is still SLOOOOOOOW!!!

On a serious note. :hellyeah::thumb:

Well I bought the motor and it was trash. Lucky none of you bought it.

Girdle was on backwards so it was easier to grind it down to make it fit.

Wow that really sucks! I would be pissed. That is one horrific job at a attempt to assemble a engine....

I warned you before you bought it.. I mean, the guy justified hacking off the main cap bridges just because the Jays racing billet caps are that way and never listened to anyone who told him other wise.

He'll.. He did build it in his kitchen. =/

Guess it was compromised.

Did you pay attention to the build? EVERYTHING about it was compromised from the get go.. He was always too pig-headed to take advice from others or felt we were attacking him. I was 100% positive it would have blew up upon first start up. I warned my buddy from purchasing the motor for several reasons but it was too late. He said he'd hope for the best once he got it and now that he has it in his possession it is exactly as most would have expected it to be.

I'm pretty pissed about it, sucks for it to have happened to anyone but to someone that is like family like Louis to have to deal with it is unfortunate and that is after Lou went out and bought brand new Jays racing billet caps because the moron Sean ruined the stock ones.

Yeah it is bad........I have been around for a minute and this is not the first time this has happened. ( black on black crime.). It is what it is. I will repurchase all the bearings. I am picking up the rods today to send them to R&R to see what can be done. My guy says he thinks three of them are ok. I know I will have to buy a piston. Just can't find any wiseco markings on them. They are supposed to be hd 1400s. Motor will be great when we are done just sucks that I got screwed. But I love limonade.

In the end, just like a car though, it is the buyers responsibility to make sure the product you are buying is purchasable. im sorry to hear you got screwed dude, but you might be s.o.l. on this issue. Good luck!!

Things happen ive been screwed over too, so life goes on and i rebuild. In the past 2 months ive been fortunate to, acquire some cars, and some funds to do things over when i have problems. Hell make it better this time.

True but it is also the responsibility of the seller to not be a dick and screw others over. And I am making sure, that's why it went to the machine shop. I just waited to long. But it is ok, it will be built better. I have enough money that I will build it better and sue the sh&$ out of him. So if he sees this or anyone has contact with him, tell him to get ready. That a$$ is mine, on paper that is...LOL. And this I will laugh about.
