I've had a couple cars with 6 speed trany's in them, 6th gear is the only way to go on the freeway on the way to work.

Compare 2200rpm to 4k rpm on my dsm.... yeah, 6 speed ftw.

Most people don't think that way, they just assume that with a 6spd you get better acceleration. Just do the evoIII 5th gear and call it a day.
Nobody is going to spend 2k + on a tranny for an extra gear.

hah id spend 5 if i had to. to have a 6-speed. but nobody is willing to make one so no luck for me..

I'd would like to see someone make, a box that covers the area around the air filter, with maybe a cool air duct or ram air with the light removed.

CF OEM Wing
CF plate or something to cover the nasty looking floor in the back after you pull your back seats out.
Some kind of a hood that has a hole in it so you could mount your short route intercooler up there or something so you wouldn't have to cut up your radiator or deal with overheating and all that other crap.
CF Headliner (one that has a damn hole for my sunroof)
Some kind of door handles that look better or sit a little more flush.
Better EPROM for less (like custom ones or something).
and last but not least a wing that will really make us fly, jk.

You can make these yourself. Just go to your local sign shop and ask for a peice of 1/8" PVC or Sintra and cut it out yourself. It is way easy and lighter than what most people sale. I just did this with my center vent in my 1g and ended up perfect. You can also cut it all out with an exacto knife if your careful dont even need a saw or anything.

i havent read all 13 pages of this thread but i always wandered why other cars had billet motor mounts but dsm's didnt. so i called up innovative mounts to see if it can be done. well to keep it short, it was in the design stage and then they cancelled it to move on to other projects. they thought it sucked that all we have is inserts and i agreed. so if anyone ever wanted a nice set of billet motor mounts. i tried

We need some steel or aluminum motor mounts. Not inserts but actual real complete motor mounts. We also need rear subframe steel or aluminum bushings for the 1g that are not expensive. By the way, who sells aluminum moter mounts. . Thanks.

turbo garage has one, i have it in my car
