I installed a socket in my eprom ecu and now the car wont start . with the key in the "run" position I can hear a relay or something under the dash clicking . anyone have any idea on what I did wrong ?

Well, if it didn't click like that before you tried to socket your ECU, you probably screwed up somewhere. 2G ECU's are much more fragile, and are more prone to damage than a 1G ECU. Try swapping out an ECU, to see if your situation improves. Make sure you have it plugged in, and check the board for shorts and bridges.

Other than that, do the basic stuff like checking fuses, spark, fuel, etc.

found problem , pulled socket back off and fond that some of the printed leads that go to the circuitry on the top of the board were broken . does any body know if this is repairable or not ?
