power transistor relocation

So Im doing a 90's 6B in a 95 and I was wondering if the power transistor had to be grounded or not because theres not really anywhere to bolt it up too

Mine isn't bolted down, been fine for about a year since my swap. I warn you though try to keep away from moving parts, or the heater core coolant lines. I had one bust and drench my pt, car ran like crap till it was dry(put in rice ).

Mine is just tucked inside my intake mani. No problems in a year so far.

so it wasnt flopping around when i moved mine i made an l shaped bracket and mounted it on the back side of the block

It's good to keep it bolted down. It serves as a heatsink to the transistors and an additional ground. There's more info on this in similar threads. I have a 90' engine and mine is bolted to the intake manifold where the stock 90' harness protector bolts to. Albeit, it's only one bolt but it's something I suppose.
