just picked up a 95 talon tsi awdoff a friend of my fathers. first things first is tune up which im doing this upcoming weekend. now heres the question for all the DSM masters out there. Im new to the 4g63 and am wondering what mods i should go for next so far the list of mods/new parts are as follows:New T25, New transfer Case, Hardpipes and aftermarket sidemount, Intake, cb exhaust, turbo timer, bov, new clutch kit, f/r sway bars. First off in do not want to stray from the t25 just yet its a brand new turbo and for now im not looking at going to any turbo swaps. im trying to keep this as a daily driver but want something i can have some fun in also. i got 3 boxes of spare parts/extras that i plan on selling off so i should have about $500-$1000 to begin my parts hunt. I live in an area where dsm's are big so parts are easy to find here. Big question is, where do i start?

First off congrats on the car. Now to start, why are you going to get a new t25? Don't replace it unless you have to and whenever you do just pick up a 16g. you can find a really good used one for around $300 or less. If you are going to upgrade your intercooler, don't hassle witha sidemount. Just go ahead and get a frontmount. Punishment racing has a killer fmic kit for a great price. While your at it go ahead and get their 3" downpipe. It is a great mod. Exhaust wise ebay is good. I have a Greddy Ti-C. It is amazing but I feel it was over priced compared performance wise. Get an intake also. Ebay is fine. Don't replace the tcase unless there is something wrong with it. Just change the oil. Maintance is the first thing you should do. Change spark plugs and wires, oil, check timing belt, and change the pcv valve. Have fun!

Your turbo is realy the heart if your setup. It sets the range of power you will be able to produce. All of your other mods will be to support your choice of turbo. To stay with the t25 would be a poor decision as it easily becomes the bottle neck of your setup. For a reliable dd any mhi turbo has been proven many times over.(ex. t28, 16g, 20g, etc...) You can reliably run any of these turbos on even a bone stock engine if you keep the boost arround stock levels. The difference is tremendous compared to the t25. Now that your not using that tiny t25 :).... an intake and exhaut are horsepower 101, followed by the mods you mentioned initialy, then on to fuel and ecu upgrades.

first i would get a 16g turbo , a front mount and piping , and an intake all simple bolt on stuff im also from READING PA if u need help or some pointer feel free to ask or u can check out my 1g to get some ideas

im so sorry for the confusion on the parts list. those are all the parts that are already on the car:thumb:. im just looking for information on further build up. but thank you all for the good info:D. if you guys could further help would be imensly appreciated.

It would probably be better for you to get a Big T-28 instead of a T-25. The T-28 bolts up exactly the same as the T-25 and looks exactly the same on the outside. The only difference is that it has a larger compressor and turbine. It is a great street turbo and you can run it on a stock fuel system as long as you keep it around 12 psi. If you don't want to do that, seeing that you just bought another turbo, I wouldn't do anything more to the engine until you want to upgrade the turbo, you wont get much performance out of that turbo, trust me. Get a manual boost controller and boost gauge if you haven't already. Maybe get some new wheels, lowering springs, and shocks. And BoostedBanana, I live near Reading, so where are all of these parts laying around that you speak of?
