planning on upgrading my stock turbo

ok bros im stuck i wana upgrade my stock turbo but dont know which one. any help would be good.


mods are: Dsmlink v3,255 walbrp pump, afpr, engine pro valves.

That would depend on hp goals. I have a 14b in my car, stock fuel system, a few little mods. I like it. Its quicker then it was, but its def not a BIG 16g running 20 psi.

I agree, you need to decide what your goals are for the car itself including numbers. On your 2G even a 14b turbo from a 1G is an upgrade over the stock T25. Depending on how much money you want to put into the upgrade including correct supporting mods, A MHI turbo (either 14b or 16g) may be perfect for what you already have done....Just my opinion. I agree with the people above, before you can make an educated guess on which turbo you would like to upgrade too, or any modification for that matter, you need to set a goal. Either a horse power/Torque number or to a specific type of motor sport (Drag, Auto X, ect.), or just to have fun.

There are several good sources of information for this topic. One of which is the Tech section of this site. It is located along the top bar, Tech. If you click on upgrade paths there are sections for Drag racing, Auto Cross, and general upgrade paths. There is also a list of links at the bottom of the page that are completely indispensable.

going to need injectors if you wana run much bigger than stock i have a 14b on my car with wally 255 and ffwd fuel kit and i cant push any higher than 16psi

Well something is wrong with your car. In my last talon I was seeing 16 pounds on the stock fuel system with my 14b. And that is not un heard of either.

You probably need a stock appearing turbo for california right? If you can't get around that somehow then you're stuck with either a t-28, 14b, 16g, or bastard 20g (sleeper 16g).

Get some 1050cc injectors and a 14b or 16g. My 14 with 1050 injectors at only 13 psi pulls what feels like twice as hard as 15 on my t25.
