Like usual, I am just looking for peoples opinions. As far as what they believe are the best rods, pistons, valves, camshafts and gears, underdrive pully, Ect. Thanks

Best is really a function of your budget and your goals for the car.

For the 420a? I would suggest keeping everything bone stock. Go do some reading. Several other members have shelled out 5k or more on bottom ends etc and they will never even come close to scratching the surface of their limits while remaining Naturally Aspirated.

As for the head. Its known that the 420a has a very well designed head capable of flow rates for the 300+hp mark. If you were however to run say MS and a little boost thats a whole different story.

Save your cash and spend it on something like an oil change timing belt job new gaskets, tires, blinker fluid etc :D

try 2GNT.com - home or read the 420a bolt on section. Bulletdsm has the fastest 2g N/T and he will even tell you dont sink your money into them unless your serious about staying in it for the long haul. Dont quote me but Im wanting to say for 10k hes in the 13s
