Hey guys I'm new to this site. I have this 92 mitsu with a 16 valve DOHC 4g63 T and I got the car for free. The body is in perfect shape and the interior is like new but the engine was rebuilt by the prior owner and he didn't time the timing belt right, so the engine went and the valves bent.

Any one have any advise such as converting to turbo and any web sites to order parts from?

I did a turbo swap, it can be done, search for non turbo to turbo swaps. There should be info on it
you will need everything the turbo cars do. Use ebay, and look around once you find out what you need
thats the best start.

ok yea because since im goin 2 have 2 fix the engine anyways i might as well convert it 2 turbo. do you have any idea how much that would cost?

Honestly buy a jdm motor and drop it in unless you have patient to look for part to part

ok yea iv been looking at doing both. i am planning on doing this all this summer because i have 2 wait until spring 2 get my car out of storage. do u have any preferences on turbos?

well i dont know maby because i just found a jdm dohc 4g63 turbo cyclone for 1,100. but i also do agree it would probably be more fun/challenging to do a rebuild/upgrade

we turboed my friends NA with just a 14B, we kept stock NA ecu, stock NA maf, stock NA motor, ran 450, all the IC piping, injector resister pack, safc, and turbo oilpan. car runs awsome, hes ben beating the shit out of it for a few years now, its only at 9psi, but boy is alot of fun!

I would also suggest getting a turbo trans, clutch, flywheel.

good luck
