PCV valve trouble

Hey so I just got a new valve cover for my 4g63 and when I beagan installing it i ran into the pcv valve, it won’t go it, I’ve tried it at an angle and been trying to get the think in for 3 hours now I got the new cover from stm tuned do I have to get a new smaller pcv valve?

Does it have the correct pitch? Do you have a metric one or are you using an ASE one? Perhaps try different pitch metric bolts in the cover to see which it is and then hold it against the PCV valve to compare pitches.
