passenger aftermarket door lock actuator

so i installed an aftermarket door lock actuator in my passenger side door today. it worked for a while and then when I put it all together, the actuator quit working. I tested the wires going to the actuator for power the there wasn't any. Could the security box behind the speaker cover panel be the problem or are there relays that could be going bad? If there are relays, then where are they on the car? any help is appreciated. I already tried a junkyard actuator and it didn't work either. I also cleaned the connections and linkages on both oem actuators.

It could be the module behind the speaker covers, but it could also be a fuse or the switches.

Ok I haven't looked at the module yet but no switch works, remote or door switch. Isthe module a sealed unit or can it be opened and fixed/checked out.

There is a relay one side of the security module, check it out, it might be bad.

check the fuse first! I would test the switch for power next and if it has power and you don't hear the relay click, replace the relay. The module is a sealed unit I believe.

I think it's the door switch. I just looked at it and when I push it in nothing happens. When I push the drivers door switch the relay clicks. I'm going to try a new door switch.

well i haven't purchased a new door switch yet but i did some testing and there is no power going to it. I also jumped, grounded each pin and tried it without the switch and nothing is happening. Could i be something in the security box? Or is it something in the wiring that only goes to the passenger side door. The driver side door works just fine. If it were the relay I would think that neither door lock would work? Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it. Im planning on installing a new door switch but I don't think thats the problem.
