Well I know that 2 bolts and 2 crush washers go to the pan side. What exactly goes to the turbo side? Is the gasket identical to the one at the pan? Are there crush washers that go there to? Is the area just as prone to leaking and is there anything special that I need to do on that end?

Thank you!

Why do you say no rtv allowed?

Not only does it stop a paper gasket from sealing, it can (and will) squish into the drain and cause restriction. Like so:

A good coat of copper spray works well for the oil drain gaskets.

Thanks alot everyone. I have the bolts, but no crush washers on this side right? Do I put lock washers there? While at it, does anyone know the torque specs?

I tore this whole thing down without paying attention to what goes where. Ok on most cars, dangerous on a 4g63.

Thanks

You can look around town for some copper washers. I found a set at Harbor Freight for like 15 bucks, and it came with a large variety of sizes.

Worst case scenario you cant find them, a local Crysler dealer might have some in stock for an SRT-4. Our stock TD04 is both water cooled, and oil cooled, and it uses copper crush washers. There are two sizes, and they are only mm's apart. IIRC, the water lines have the bigger of the two.

A little confused, I am trying to verify whether or not the turbo side of that return line uses crush washers or not.

crush washers are only used on the pan side of the return line. The bolt thread holes go though the pan allowing oil to travel out through the threads, similar to the exhaust manifold stud that travels into the oil galley of the head.

No you dont need "crushwashers" but spring washers work well to keep the fitting/return line on tight.

Thanks was just making sure. I just checked google images and was wondering if a spring washer is the same thing as a lock washer. They look the same from what I can see.

Thanks
