o.k. check it out, i just rebuilt and dropped in my 6 bolt in my 98 gsx....everything is good except the fact the my oil pressure seems too high.....at idle it's like 27-35 right around there, and at 2500 to 3000 rpm it buries my nice auto meter carbon 100 psi gauge....it doesn't peg it mind you, it just goes out of range. how much oil pressure should i have at 2500 and up?....the motor's freshly built, b shaft elimnator ki and, rod and crank clearences are all about .001-.0015...is my oil pressure high because i built it tight?, or some other reason, or is that good oil pressure...thanks..... :dsm:

Don't panic, those numbers are about right. A little higher than spec at idle, but bear in mind you're reading right at the pump output. It calms down to normal by the time it gets to the bearings.

Yes, that is normal after removing the Bshafts. You might want to run some 5 weight oil to drop it down some psi.
