Well my buddy is helping me with the car and I'm a little confused. He told me to get an oil pressure sender switch because mine was jacked up. I looked it up on Autozone and it has one for a gauge and a light. Do we have both? How do I know which one I need? Sorry if this is a stupid question!

no your going ot have one or the other.. i thought we only had the gauge though, dint't know there where models that came with the dummy light

I didn't know the autozone website gives the gauge or light option and several other sites do also. So ours is the gauge?

You have both. They are both located on the oil filter housing.

Oil pressure switch (light) is the smaller of the two and connects on the side of the oil filter housing towards the front.

Oil pressure gauge unit is the larger and connects on the bottom of the oil filter housing.
